This picturesque Scottish motorcycle route takes you along the peaceful northern shore of Loch Duich and through wild Highland forests before finishing at the foot of the bridge over Loch Alsh, connecting the Isle of Skye to mainland Scotland.

The road to the sea

At Invergarry take the A87 out west on this Scottish motorcycle route towards the sea. In no time at all you’ll reach the shoreline of Loch Garry and follow the wooded route that runs parallel to the water. There are several blind bends, so make sure there’s plenty of visibility when overtaking.

Wild open spaces

On reaching Loch Duich, the road opens up and the views become bigger and better as you follow its north shore. The mountains seem to grow larger as you get nearer to the coast, which makes for breathtaking views towards Skye. At Invershiel, you’re rewarded with Hebridean views for the final 15 miles of this stunning ride.
